AddSecure honoured with Telematik Markt Award for DVS solution in “Connected Vehicle” category

The award recognizes AddSecure’s innovative RoadView DVS solution, which enhances fleet safety and efficiency by using AI camera technology to eliminate blind spots and detect vulnerable road users. It is fully compliant with the DVS 2024 specification.

AddSecure, a leading European provider of secure IoT connectivity and end-to-end solutions, has been honoured with the prestigious 2024 Connected Vehicle Award by German Telematik Markt for its DVS solution. This recognition highlights the company's continuous commitment to enhancing safety and efficiency in fleet management and video telematics, particularly through innovative technologies such as the RoadView DVS solution.

The RoadView DVS solution represents a combination of artificial intelligence and camera-based technology designed to significantly improve road safety. By minimizing blind spots and reducing accidents, this solution has proven to be a key factor in making roads safer for everyone, especially in cities. The solution consists of a Moving Off Information System (MOIS) and a Blind Spot Information System (BSIS) with active alerts warning the driver and vulnerable road users when a vehicle is coming close or turning right (left in UK).

“By combining artificial intelligence and camera-based technologies, we have managed to significantly increase safety on the roads by minimising blind spots and noticeably reducing the number of accidents,” said Johan Norrman, CTO and VP Product & Technology, Smart Transport at AddSecure.

The award underscores AddSecure's dedication to providing solutions that address the needs of its customers and partners. The RoadView-DVS solution is a prime example of how modern technology can revolutionize road safety, and the company's focus remains on delivering innovative, customer-centric solutions.

“We are honoured to receive this award and see it as a validation that we are on the right path. I extend my heartfelt thanks to Telematik Markt, our dedicated team and partners, and our valued customers for their trust and support. We look forward to continuing our collaboration to make the world of connected vehicles safer and smarter,” continued Johan Norrman.
